About this race
The Trail de la Pérouse begins in Plombières-lès-Dijon, Côte-d’Or, organized by Plombières Athlétic Sport. The event features three timed races and one non-competitive walk: the 27 km La Pérouse, the 13 km La Pérousette, and the 8 km La Pérousinette, alongside a 10 km marked walk. Now in its 28th edition, this is a well-established fixture for runners near Dijon, not just a local village race.
The 27 km route, the most challenging, includes 950 m of elevation gain and can be completed individually or as a two-person relay. For the relay, one participant runs 19 km and the other the final 8 km. The pair shares a single bib, making a race belt practical for the exchange. The 13 km race involves a 482 m climb, and the 8 km route, with 250 m of ascent, serves as an introductory option for those new to trail running. The races are largely self-supported, with a single aid station for liquids on the 27 km course. Registration is conducted online.
