The Trail de la Vallée de la Thure is a trail-running event held in Cousolre, Nord department of Hauts-de-France. It features hilly paths through nature, forest, and higher ground surrounding the Thure valley. The main spring event offers runners three trail options: 10 km with 200 m of elevation gain, 16 km with 300 m, and 27 km with 440 m. For walkers, there are 8 km and 12 km routes. The event also includes races for children and juniors, with distances across the wider series ranging from very short kids’ races up to 42 km.
The courses are loop routes, with Cousolre serving as the central base. The event caters to a mixed field: beginners can opt for shorter trails or walks, while experienced runners can tackle the longer, hilly routes. Organizers ensure durable course marking and provide refreshments suited to the routes. The series also features a night version in Cousolre, offering a 12 km trail designed for various skill levels and fostering a friendly, self-challenging atmosphere.
