The Trail de la Vallée du Scorff is a Breton trail-running weekend held in Cléguer, a Morbihan village known locally as the “mushroom village.” Taking place in mid-October, it features several race options: short daytime trails of approximately 7.5 km and 11 km, middle-distance routes covering 23 to 25 km, and a long trail around 51 to 52 km. The event also includes a night race, with Noz Trail options and the shorter Fast Noz, offering runners a headlamp-assisted run through the valley.
The courses traverse the forest landscapes of the Scorff Valley, named after the Scorff river which flows for over 70 km before meeting the Atlantic at Lorient. The longer Sunday courses involve significant elevation: the main route includes about 1,500 m of climbing, and the 25 km version has around 700 m. Known locally as Les Foulées de Cléguer, the race is one of Brittany’s more established trail events. It is part of regional challenge circuits like the Ouest Trail Tour and Armor Argoat, attracting regular Breton trail runners and those seeking a forest race with a lively atmosphere.
