About this race
The Trail de Lauzelle starts in the Bois de Lauzelle, Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, offering family distances and trail races up to 18 km. Organized by Résidence Lennox A.S.B.L. on a spring Sunday, it focuses on inclusion alongside competitive running. The event provides routes for children, trail runners, wheelchair users, and joëlette teams.
The 1 km and 3.5 km routes accommodate all chair types and joëlettes, while the 7.5 km route is for joëlettes. The 12.5 km and 18 km races traverse challenging terrain with 230 m and 360 m elevation gain, respectively, making them unsuitable for chairs. A 1 km Kids Run is available for ages 4 to 10. The day features refreshments at the finish, aid stations on the two longest courses, music by Tikiwaka, Draft It, Vincent Michel, and Honoré Kouadio, a food and drink zone, games, and a bouncy castle.
