About this race
The Trail de Lavault-Sainte-Anne et des Gorges du Cher is a trail running event held in Lavault-Sainte-Anne, within the Gorges du Cher. Participants can choose from four distances: a 42 km marathon, a 21 km half marathon, a 10 km race, and a 5 km race. The marathon features approximately 1,000 meters of elevation gain, while the half marathon includes about 500 meters of climbing.
The routes incorporate forest paths, technical trail segments, and sections along the Cher river. The marathon is designed for runners seeking a demanding challenge on rugged terrain, and the half marathon requires climbing ability and precise footwork. The 10 km and 5 km races offer shorter alternatives, allowing participation in the same environment without the full distance commitment. This race series, now in its multiple editions, attracts participants who prefer off-road running over flat road races.
