Trail de Mauves en Vert 2026

The Trail de Mauves en Vert begins in Mauves-sur-Loire, east of Nantes, leading runners into the Loire countryside each autumn. Organized by RITM-Run In Thouaré Mauves, this annual trail-running event offers multiple formats: a 60 km trail, shorter trail distances, a 17 km nature run, a relay, Nordic walking, and children’s races. Established in 2013, it now attracts over a thousand participants across its various options. The longer course connects Thouaré-sur-Loire, Mauves-sur-Loire, Le Cellier, and Oudon, passing vineyards, Loire riverbanks, and scenic overlooks. The elevation gain makes it valuable preparation for mountain ultras. Certain paths are exclusively available on race day, enhancing the event's local character beyond typical public routes. Participants include solo runners, relay teams, walkers, families, and regional trail runners. Feedback highlights the organization and atmosphere, though the crowded start can impede early progress.
