Trail De Montbazon is a small nature-running event in Montbazon, Indre-et-Loire, held at the foot of the town’s medieval fortress. The program is designed for adults and children: adults choose between roughly 8.5-9 km and 17-18 km trail races, while younger runners get 600 m, 800 m, and 1.2 km races. Adult entries are capped at 200, keeping it closer to a local club race than a large anonymous trail festival.
The adult routes use repeated loops: two loops for the shorter race and four for the longer one. The terrain is not mountainous, with about 50 m of climbing on the short trail and about 100 m on the long trail. The race suits regular runners, casual runners, and families bringing children for the shorter events. Montbaz’Run organizes it, and the day ends in a very French local-race way: paella, a refreshment bar, and an evening with music after the running is done.
