Trail de Valberg 2026

Trail de Valberg is a mountain trail race held in Valberg, a resort in the Southern Alps of France, within the Alpes-Maritimes. It takes place in mid-September, with the Parc des Sports on Avenue de Valberg serving as the event hub. The summer race features several timed distances, ranging from short mountain runs of approximately 8.5 km to a marathon-length trail, with additional options around 13 km and 21 km. The courses traverse mountain terrain near Valberg, including elevation changes, technical single tracks, aid stations, and expansive views of the Mercantour region. This event is part of a larger Valberg Trail series that also includes a winter snow trail, meaning the resort hosts runners in both dry and snowy conditions. The 13 km route is designated the “Souvenir Lionel Murazzano,” honoring a local mountain sports enthusiast and Ski Club Valberg-Beuil volunteer.
