Trail des 2 salines - Arc-et-Senans 2026

The Trail des 2 Salines connects two historic saltworks: starting at the Grande Saline of Salins-les-Bains and concluding at the Saline royale in Arc-et-Senans. This autumn trail event, held in the Doubs and Jura region, offers a 29 km solo race, a 29 km relay, a 13 km Course des Gabelous, and a 13 km Rando des Gabelous for walkers. The 29 km course largely traces the former brine pipeline between the two sites, crossing the valleys of the Furieuse and the Loue with an elevation gain of 950 m. The shorter Gabelous route begins in Port Lesney, follows the Via Salina to the Saline royale, and passes through forests and vineyards, featuring 280 m of climbing. The event is designed for both novice and seasoned trail runners. Visitors may enter the park without charge during the event, but access to museums and exhibitions requires a separate ticket.
