Trail des boss - Le Mans 2027

Trail des Boss is a short trail event held on the Le Mans Université campus. It was established by the university sports service and has been held annually since 2019. The event welcomes participants beyond the university community, including students, staff, local residents, families, athletes, and casual runners. The schedule includes a free family loop with 1 km and 2.7 km distances, featuring no timing or rankings. This is followed by an 8 km timed race for participants aged cadets and above. The course is entirely within the Le Mans campus, encouraging attendees to view the university grounds as a venue for running, not solely for academic and administrative activities. The event emphasizes a relaxed campus morning atmosphere over a demanding trail running style. Children participating in the family loop receive a small gift, as do registered runners in the 8 km race. A snack is provided to all participants after the races. Facilities such as changing rooms, showers, and lockers are available on-site, with participants advised to bring their own padlock.
