Trail des calades 2026

Trail des Calades is a trail-running event in Saint-Jean-de-Cuculles, a village in Hérault in southern France, located at the foot of Pic Saint-Loup. It typically takes place in mid-October and provides two distance options: a 10 km trail and a 17 km trail, with the latter featuring 650 m of elevation gain. The courses follow the paths surrounding the village, offering runners technical trails, consistent ascents, and quick descents instead of a flat road race. The event attracts a local following alongside visiting trail runners, with over 300 adults and nearly 80 children participating in a recent running. It has been held for at least ten years, and one past anniversary start featured the sound of the pibole, while organizers also honored Jean-Claude Delarue, a local figure with ties to the race community.
