Trail des deux pics - Margerie-Chantagret 2027

Trail des deux pics is a morning trail race held in Margerie-Chantagret, a village in the Loire department near the Forez trails. Participants can select from two distances: 9 km with 300 m of elevation gain, or 18 km with 650 m of elevation gain. Both courses are primarily off-road, with approximately 90 percent on paths. The 9 km race is open to participants aged 16 and older, while the 18 km race is for participants aged 20 and older. The event is organized by Forez Fast Runner and is in its second edition, retaining the same routes as the inaugural run. The 18 km race begins earlier in the morning, followed by the 9 km race. A children's race is also included, allowing families to participate. All finishers receive a participant gift, and prizes are awarded to the top three men and women in each distance, along with category winners. The event also offers refreshments, food, children's activities, entertainment, a partner village, arrival videos, detailed results, and a post-race meal available by reservation.
