Trail des Grenouilles 2026

Trail des Grenouilles is a local trail event held at the village hall in Valencogne, Isere, beginning in the morning with two races: 16 km and 7 km. It is organized by Le sou des écoles de Valencogne St Ondras, the local school association. The event is designed for families, offering a 7 km walk and children's races in addition to the timed trails. The routes follow the paths surrounding Valencogne, with OpenRunner maps available for both distances. Participants can select the 16 km or 7 km trail, or join the 7 km walk on the day of the event. Children have their own races later in the morning. Food is available on site, and the school association also offers takeaway meals that can be reserved and collected post-race. This is the first edition, keeping the event straightforward and community-focused: village paths, organization by the school association, and a morning schedule that includes activities for parents, children, walkers, and trail runners.
