Trail des grottes 2027

Trail des Grottes guides participants through the Saint-Christophe caves in Savoie, located within the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park. This trail event, held in late March from Saint-Christophe in the Massif de la Chartreuse, offers three routes. The 10 km petit Trail des Grottes features 490 m of elevation gain, and the 21 km Trail XS includes 900 m of elevation gain. The course incorporates the caves, with a mandatory walking section in the lower cave. The 10 km route is suitable for those seeking a shorter run or walk, while the 21 km route challenges trail runners with a more demanding mountain effort. Refreshments are available along the course and at the finish. Guided cave tours are offered post-race, integrating the cave site into the day's activities.
