About this race
The Trail des Luthiers is a March Sunday trail race held in Mirecourt, offering two distances: 8 km and 14 km. The 14 km race begins at 9:30 a.m., with the 8 km race starting 15 minutes later. The event focuses on a brisk morning of competition rather than an extended festival. Registration is straightforward and inexpensive: 8 euros for the 8 km course and 12 euros for the 14 km course. AVEC licensed runners can enter for free by using the race code and submitting their FFA licence. GPX files are available for both courses, allowing participants to review the routes beforehand.
Approximately 300 athletes participate in Mirecourt, with strong showings from local clubs in the rankings. The top finishers in the 14 km race have included Elhocine Zourkane, Vincent Hagniel, Sébastien Guilley, and women’s winner Marjorie Aubel. For the 8 km race, notable participants have been Ali Messaoudi, Yannick Henrion, Noah Rémy, and women’s winner Elodie Chanussot. A valid PPS medical certificate is required on race day. On-site registration is permitted up to one hour before the start, provided spots remain available.
