About this race
Trail des Mange-Lamberts is a late-winter trail event held in Puget-sur-Argens, located in the Var department of southern France. Participants can select from two off-road distances: the 21 km TML, featuring 1,000 m of elevation gain, and the 11 km Rataillon, with 400 m of climbing. Additionally, a 12 km Terres Gastes walk is available, offering just 85 m of elevation gain, ensuring the day accommodates more than just runners seeking a strenuous challenge. The event is organized by the City of Puget-sur-Argens in conjunction with the local secular cultural foyer association.
The longer race presents a more challenging ascent, while the shorter trail attracts a larger number of participants. Past events have seen over 300 runners on the 11 km course, compared to over 100 on the 21 km route. The event incorporates entertainment along the course and at the finish line, contributing to a local festival atmosphere rather than a simple race day. A significant portion of the proceeds benefits a local association dedicated to social and solidarity initiatives. Bib collection is available prior to race day at Intersport in Puget-sur-Argens or on race morning at La Lieutenante. Advance registration is required, as on-site entry is not permitted.
