About this race
The Trail des Monts d'Usiers - 10 km is an evening trail race held in Goux-les-Usiers, located in the Doubs department of eastern France. This 10-kilometer race features 340 meters of elevation gain, making it suitable for runners who prefer shorter distances while still offering significant uphill challenges. Participants begin at 18:30 and are allotted 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the course.
The broader Trail des Monts d'Usiers event includes a longer trail race, a non-timed 5 km walk, a color run, and children's races, presenting it as a community sports day rather than a singular competition. The longer route, originating from Val d'Usiers, ascends 620 meters over approximately 20 km, showcasing the hilly landscape of the Monts d'Usiers region. Several local organizations support the event, such as AS Mont d'Usiers, Ping Val d'Usiers, Comité des fêtes Bians-les-Usiers, TÔD 800, and Les Foulées Gourmandes du Val d'Usiers. The 10 km race is part of the BO challenge and is integrated into the Doubs Terre de Trail network.
