Trail des Monts de Gy is a nature-running event held in Gy, a town in Haute-Saône, eastern France. It is organized by the local association Les Chauffe la semelle and provides multiple participation options: shorter trail races of approximately 10 km, longer routes extending up to 20 km, and rando-trail options for those preferring a hiking experience over a competitive race.
The routes traverse paths and trails in the hills surrounding Gy, featuring moderate climbs, forested areas, and open vistas of the Franche-Comté countryside. Specific race formats include the 10 km Trail des Kiwis, with around 230 m of elevation gain, and the 20 km Trail des Kangourous, with approximately 500 m. Several hundred runners and walkers attend annually. Timed races offer rankings and awards, including overall and age-group prizes for men and women. Participants receive a technical T-shirt, and a portion of the entry fee benefits Association Clifransep, which supports individuals affected by multiple sclerosis and myelin-related diseases.
