Trail des Mousses is a trail-running event in Fontgombault, a village in the Indre department of central France. The races start and finish at the Fontgombault leisure area, offering three main distances: La racine at 5 km, La seve at 12 km, and La canopee at 23 km. Children's races and a hike are also part of the event.
The routes traverse the Creuse valley between Le Blanc and Lurais, utilizing a mix of the voie verte and local paths. A section known as the chemin des mousses, also called the chemin des fees, is included. The course passes by caves, a natural rock bridge, and offers viewpoints toward Fontgombault Abbey. Le Blanc Athletisme organizes the event, with the trail circuit designed locally by Laurent. The race is held alongside the club's other events, including the Ronde des Etangs de Migne, Course des 2 Viaducs, and Cross de Fontgombault.
