The Trail des Terrils du 11/19 is a trail race held in Loos-en-Gohelle, within the Pas-de-Calais mining basin of northern France. The 11/19 site on rue de Bourgogne functions as the event's hub, serving as the meeting, start, and finish point. The race course utilizes the steep, artificial terrain created by former mining operations, meaning runners ascend slag heaps rather than typical town or forest paths.
Adult participants can select from two primary races. La 19 covers 20 km with two slag heap ascents and approximately 450 m of elevation gain. La 11 is an 11 km course featuring one slag heap climb and around 220 m of gain. The event also offers non-competitive, untimed youth walks over distances of 500 m, 1000 m, and 2000 m. Bib collection is available at the Decathlon store in Vendin-le-Vieil the Saturday before the race, with an additional option at the 11/19 site on race morning.
