Trail Du Facteur - Hauterives 2026

The Trail du Facteur is a December trail race held in Hauterives, a village in the Drôme department known for the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval. The race begins at the Hauterives gymnasium, offering two trail distances: 9.2 km with approximately 160 meters of elevation gain, or 17.2 km with approximately 310 meters of elevation gain. The courses follow the paths of the Drôme des Collines and approach the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval near the finish line, providing a distinctive local landmark. Organized by the Club Sportif Galaurien Cyclo Trail, the event prohibits poles and does not require any mandatory equipment. Participants receive water along the course and refreshments at the finish.
