Trail du Jovinien 2027

The Trail du Jovinien is a trail running event held in late March in Joigny, located in the Yonne department of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Organized by a local athletics club, it features several off-road distances ranging from 13 km to 34 km, in addition to a timed Nordic walk. The longer race presents a demanding challenge, not a casual run, featuring 820 meters of elevation gain and an approximate finish time of 5 hours 40 minutes for many participants. The routes traverse the countryside surrounding Joigny, incorporating forest paths, hills, and vineyard scenery. The event also hosts children’s and junior races, making it suitable for a family outing as well as a trail competition for seasoned runners. The 34 km course is designated as “Confirmed,” indicating a route intended for runners experienced with hilly terrain and extended time on trails.
