Trail du Louron 2026

Trail du Louron is a mountain trail race in the Vallée du Louron, Hautes-Pyrénées, Occitanie, situated between Génos and Loudenvielle in the Pays d’Aure. It takes place in early August, offering runners short, steep options. The main distances are approximately 11 km and 25 km, with a 10 km format also detailed in the race information. The routes traverse several villages within the valley, deviating from a simple out-and-back road course. The more challenging long race features around 1,600 m of elevation gain. One 10 km option includes about 800 m of ascent. Another 10 km variant is a flatter 5 km loop completed twice, with 50 m of climbing per loop; this can be run individually or as a relay, with the exchange occurring at the start/finish line.
