Trail du Maquis du Vercors - Bouvante 2026

Trail du Maquis du Vercors is a trail-running weekend held in Bouvante, in the southern Vercors region of France. It takes place in early October and provides several distances, from short night races to a 55 km mountain route with 2,300 m of elevation gain, along with hiking options and children’s races. The routes connect Vercors ridges, refuges, and Resistance history, including a section by the Vassieux-en-Vercors memorial. Runners can select 10 km, 18 km, 19 km, 27 km, 38 km, or 55 km formats, while walkers have 19 km and 27 km hikes. The Les Maquizouds races offer children 500 m, 1,000 m, and 1,500 m courses. Trail Nature Organisation manages the event, which is relatively new, with only a few editions completed.
