Trail du Mont de Berru gives runners several ways to circle Mont de Berru from the village of Berru in the Marne department of France’s Grand Est region. It is a two-day early-June trail weekend with short and mid-distance options, including 10 km, 14 or 15 km duo, 20 km, and 30 km races, plus walking routes listed at 4 km, 10 km, and 20 km. The longest option is Le Grand Tour du Mont de Berru, while the 20 km is Le Tour du Mont de Berru and the 10 km is La Course du Roseau.
The routes are hilly rather than flat road runs: the 10 km climbs about 250-260 m, the duo race about 400-420 m, the 20 km about 550-580 m, and the 30 km listing reaches as high as 900 m of gain. Saturday is built around walks, the 10 km, the 20 km, and an evening duo trail; Sunday carries the main 30 km, 20 km, and 10 km trail starts. A recent edition recorded 811 participants, and the event is organized by ERRANCE REIMS EUROPE CLUB. Its slogan, “À tous les coins de Berru !”, fits the format: a local trail weekend spread around the village rather than a single out-and-back run.
