The Trail du pays d'Orthe is a spring trail-running series held in Peyrehorade, Landes, southwest France. It features three distances: a 10 km trail, a 15 km route, and a 26 km route. Franck Fariscot and Alexandre Chourré, local runners and members of the Peyrehorade parents' association, APE, established the event.
The 15 km and 26 km routes are primarily off-road, with over 90% on paths and trails instead of pavement. The terrain presents more hills than typically found in Landes: the 15 km course includes approximately 300 m of climbing, and the 26 km course exceeds 500 m. Following the 15 km and 26 km races, participants can enjoy a refreshment stand and a meal, reflecting the event's local, community-organized character.
