The Trail du Telethon begins and ends at the Ille et Rance fire station in Montreuil-sur-Ille, with staggered starts for each race distance. The event features nature and trail races of 8 km, 15 km, and 22 km, offering moderate climbs: 75 meters for the 8 km, 150 meters for the 15 km, and 230 meters for the 22 km.
The courses follow the towpaths and banks of the Canal d'Ille-et-Rance between Montreuil-sur-Ille and Saint-Médard-sur-Ille. The 22 km race extends to Saint-Germain-sur-Ille. Approximately 85% of the course is on paths, and organizers include unique passages and scenic viewpoints. This race is held in partnership with the Ille et Rance firefighters' association, with proceeds benefiting AFM-Telethon.
