The Trail du Vieil Armand and La Printaniere are spring trail races held at the Vieil Armand winery in Wuenheim, Alsace. Organized by Oxygene 68, the event features three nature courses starting from a village, not a stadium or city. The courses ascend the Hartmannswillerkopf massif, an area marked by significant World War I battles. This provides a unique backdrop: participants run through hills and former trench lines. The demand is high, with all 1,200 bibs for the three races selling out weeks in advance.
