The Trail'ethon des enclaves is a January trail running event held in Gardères, located in the Hautes-Pyrénées department of southwest France. Participants can choose between two night trail races: a 15 km race with 200 m of elevation gain and a 10 km race with 150 m of elevation gain. Both races commence in the early evening.
The event emphasizes a small, practical, and local approach. The longer races are designated as 'trail découverte,' catering to runners seeking a brief off-road night run rather than an ultra-distance mountain race. Additionally, a children's race, under 5 km, begins earlier in the day, making the event suitable for families and adults who plan to run with headlamps after sunset.
