About this race
The Trail Hivernal du Lévézou is a winter trail race held in the Aveyron village of Pont-de-Salars. Sports Nature Lévézou organizes the event, offering runners two distances: a 12 km course with approximately 300 to 350 meters of elevation gain, suitable for many runners, and a 24 km course with about 800 to 900 meters of elevation gain, intended for more experienced trail runners.
Both courses begin and end in Pont-de-Salars, leading toward the Viaur valley via Saint-Georges-de-Camboulas and Camboulas. The event is conceived as both a local gathering and a sporting competition, with organizers focused on introducing runners to the Lévézou region and accommodating various skill levels. Following the race, participants have access to showers at the stadium. An awards ceremony and a Burger-Beer meal, open to runners and their guests, continue the post-race tradition established in previous years.
