The Trail Les Petits Pas is a 25 km and 11 km trail running event held in Gennes-sur-Glaize, Mayenne. It also offers canicross and a hiking option, welcoming runners, walkers, and participants with dogs to a shared community event. The reception area is located near the École Trait d’Union in Gennes-sur-Glaize. This race supports Les Petits Pas de Longuefuye, an association that funds therapies and equipment for individuals with disabilities, including support for Marius Langevin.
The routes primarily follow footpaths around Gennes-sur-Glaize and Longuefuye, extending into the countryside of Gennoise, Longuefuyenne, and Ruilléenne. Participants will traverse paths, fields, forests, and areas near local castles, with minimal time spent on roads. The event aims for broad accessibility, with participation directly contributing to fundraising for Marius, who faces significant motor and intellectual challenges following severe health issues. The trail has resumed after a year's hiatus. The organizing team includes Harry Langevin as trail lead and association treasurer, Mélina Langevin managing registrations and bibs, and Julien Sergent overseeing the courses.
