Trail Lys-Haut-Layon 2027

The Trail Lys-Haut-Layon begins at the Salle des Courtils in Vihiers, located in the Maine-et-Loire department of western France. This nature-running event, organized by the local club Athlélys Vihiersois, takes place in mid-September. Adult trail distances are offered in the short-to-middle range, with options including 6.5, 9, 10, 17.5, and 20 kilometers across various editions or formats. The adult races commence in staggered waves starting around 9:30 AM, organizing the morning and separating the different distances. The event also features an 11 km non-timed walk, free children's races held later in the morning, and routes that traverse the countryside terrain around Lys-Haut-Layon, incorporating lakes and ponds as thematic elements. The event is designed for a diverse local participation: runners seeking a challenging short trail, more experienced participants opting for longer routes, walkers desiring a relaxed outing, and children or juniors with their own dedicated courses.
