Trail Sainte-Fare 2026

Trail Sainte-Fare is a late-November trail race held in Faremoutiers, Seine-et-Marne, east of Paris. Participants can choose between a 30 km route through the Brie countryside or a 16.5 km option, runnable solo or as a relay. The shorter race is classified as a discovery-trail and includes approximately 300 meters of elevation gain, offering more than a simple flat forest run. The race takes place in the forests of Île-de-France and along rural paths near Brie. The longer distance allows participants more time in the countryside. Its fox mascot, Goupil, connects the event to the Roman de Renart, a medieval animal tale with settings linked to Brie, including areas near Faremoutiers and the forest of Malvoisine. The event is also known as “Fare Fare Away,” and recent editions have seen large fields with hundreds of registered runners across both formats.
