The Trail Urbain d'Oloron Ste-Marie guides runners through Oloron-Sainte-Marie on a short urban trail course combining streets, paths, and stairs. This event takes place in October, organized by FCO Athlétisme, SCOVA, and Courir à Oloron. It is a running event distinct from a pure road race, featuring a main loop of approximately 6 kilometers, with an initial 1.650-kilometer trail loop.
The route is technical for its length, incorporating climbs within Oloron's districts and crossing the three historic quarters: Notre-Dame, Sainte-Marie, and Sainte-Croix. It also crosses the local rivers, known as gaves, that divide the town. Past events have seen fields exceeding 200 runners, with one edition attracting around 300 participants. Results encompass individual races alongside men's, women's, and mixed relay categories, bringing solo runners and teams to this urban trail format.
