The Trail urbain de Lisieux begins and ends near Mosaïc on Boulevard Pasteur, with all routes contained within Lisieux in Calvados. Held in early October, it is an urban trail, not a pure road race, offering 8 km, 14 km, and 22 km distances. Les Rainettes du Pays d'Auge Triathlon and the City of Lisieux are the organizers, and the 14 km distance is the most popular.
The courses consist of single loops combining paths and paved streets, providing a town race with actual trail sections instead of a city run on asphalt. The route goes by the arboretum, the basilica, and along the Touques river, giving the race a local character while staying within the commune. The 8 km route includes approximately 100 m of elevation gain, the 14 km has about 250 m, and the 22 km links the 14 km course with the 8 km loop. One euro from each registration is donated to Octobre Rose, with a portion of the proceeds also supporting charity.
