The Trail urbain nantais - Tour de Chantenay is an urban trail race held in Nantes, specifically within the Chantenay district. The primary event covers approximately 17 km with around 300 metres of elevation gain, positioning it as a challenge between a road race and a demanding trail run. It is part of the Trail Urbain Nantais series and evolved from an earlier race known as the Tour de Chantenay. With editions nearing one hundred, it possesses a significant local heritage and attracts hundreds of participants.
The course winds through the streets of Chantenay, incorporates the parks of La Boucardiere and Les Oblates, and includes the ascent of Butte Sainte-Anne. Participants have noted the current route is more difficult than in previous years, featuring frequent ascents, short climbs, and descents that disrupt running rhythm. The race recently achieved a participation high, with one edition seeing over 800 registered runners. Notable past winners include Anthony Baumal, who has won seven times, and Charlotte Cerruti.
