Triathlon des Corsaires 2026

Triathlon des Corsaires takes place annually in Socoa-Ciboure, located on the Basque coast of Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwest France. Held in early October, it attracts approximately 1,000 participants competing in five categories and distances. The event includes an XS race, the well-attended M-distance race, and races for children. The M race begins with a 1.5 km swim originating from Socoa beach within the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz; breakwaters provide shelter from waves. Competitors then cycle 40 km on roads before concluding with a 10 km road run. The course follows the coast between Socoa, Ciboure, and the ocean corniche, passing by castles and natural coastal landscapes.
