Triathlon des Roses - Brumath is an XS triathlon held at Brumath lake in Bas-Rhin. It is organized around Pink October, serving as a fundraising race for breast cancer research. Bib pickup and bike drop-off begin in the morning, followed by a short briefing and group warm-up before the midday start. The event is co-organized by the ARC Foundation for cancer research and Brumath Triathlon. Its format is intentionally short, suitable for both newcomers and experienced triathletes.
The course utilizes the Brumath lake setting, with natural surroundings and proximity to the town, avoiding a remote mountain or long-distance route. Women may complete all three disciplines individually, or as part of relay teams of two or three, including mixed-gender teams. The Triathlon des Roses series originated with the ARC Foundation, with all proceeds directed to breast cancer research. Recent editions in the series have collectively raised hundreds of thousands of euros for research projects chosen by the foundation.
