Triathlon international de Cannes
Sunday, April 25, 2027 · Cannes, France
About this race
The Triathlon International de Cannes is a spring triathlon held in Cannes, Alpes-Maritimes, offering several race formats instead of a single fixed distance. The primary long race, the Triathlon L, includes a 2 km swim, a 90 km bike leg, and a 20 km run. A shorter Triathlon M is also available, featuring a 1 km swim, a 40 km ride, and a 10 km run. Both the L and M formats allow for relay entries, enabling teams to divide the swim, bike, and run segments among members.
The event also features a Triathlon XTrême, with options for individuals, duos, and teams of two or three for relays. This variety caters to a broad range of participants, from solo long-course athletes to shorter-distance racers, pairs, and relay teams. Cannes is situated in a nation with a significant triathlon history; the sport arrived in Europe via nearby Nice and is now managed nationally by the French Triathlon Federation. French long-distance triathlons draw both professionals and amateurs, and local clubs often develop younger athletes, integrating events like Cannes into a well-established race culture.
