The Urban Run Layracaise is a winter night race held in Layrac, Lot-et-Garonne, where participants run with headlamps. Runners can choose between a 5 km route with approximately 100 metres of elevation gain and a 14 km route with about 200 metres of elevation gain. This positions it as a race between a town run and a short trail event, rather than a flat road race.
The course combines paths through woods with sections that pass through the centre of Layrac, creating its semi-urban, semi-trail character. The event also features children’s races over short distances. Past results are available for several editions, indicating it is an established local event.
