Verti'Trail du Môle
Monday, August 24, 2026 · Saint-Jeoire, France
Distances
13.9km
About this race
Verti'Trail du Môle begins at the gymnasium in Saint-Jeoire, a Haute-Savoie village situated at the base of Le Môle, and takes place on the final weekend of August. The primary event is a 13.9 km mountain trail loop, officially categorized as a 10K but featuring 1,150 meters of elevation gain, making it short in distance but steep in reality. The organizers describe it as a “90° trail,” reflecting a race focused on vertical ascent rather than leisurely running.
The course guides participants through protected natural areas above the village before concluding back in Saint-Jeoire. It attracts trail runners seeking a demanding climb, ranging from seasoned mountain athletes to individuals embracing the 13.9 km course as a concise yet significant challenge. Previously known as the Verticale du Môle, the local Trailers du Môle club modified the format for its tenth anniversary to align with participant preferences.
