Viducatrail - Vieux 2027

Viducatrail is a trail event held in Vieux, a village in Calvados near Caen. AVTE Sports et évènements organizes it. Four route options are available for both runners and walkers, making the day suitable for mixed abilities, not exclusively for competitive trail runners. The routes are designed to encourage movement around Vieux, and the event maintains a local character. It started as a small, locally-sponsored race with manual timing and 80 participants. Christopher Stonham leads the organizing association, with John Stonham as vice-president. For its fifth edition, the race includes a pre-start ceremony featuring a local personality, and each participant receives a local beer brewed with products from Vieux.
