Vivicittà - Vitry-sur-Seine is the Vitry iteration of an international April running series focused on peace, solidarity, and accessible racing. The local event offers runners multiple options: a 10 km, a 5.5 km, a Duo Relay, a 5.5 km at open pace, children’s races over 500 m, 1 km, and 2 km, and the R’ViVi intergenerational relay for teams of four.
Vivicittà started in Italy in 1983 and now connects almost 60 cities in countries such as France, Italy, Angola, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Switzerland, Japan, and Algeria. Professional athletes and one-day runners participate in the same event, with results compiled into an international ranking. The series has backed humanitarian and environmental causes for over 40 years, and the Vitry race maintains that objective while providing distances for serious runners, casual runners, families, and mixed-generation teams.
