The VTT Festival des Monts du Lyonnais takes place in Pollionnay, Rhône, within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, typically in late September. Its primary registered routes are a Randuro and a Rando, accessible to both standard mountain bikes and e-bikes. The Randuro covers 30 km with 1,270 m of elevation gain, featuring six special stages and three timed sections. The Rando is also 30 km, with 900 m of climbing and overlooks of the Monts du Lyonnais. Each route is supported by two aid stations.
The event, now in its second edition, is organized by the commune of Pollionnay and Dig des Monts. It offers more than just timed enduro sections for competitive riders; families can enjoy free VTT circuits, a children's race, a balance bike race, a freestyle demonstration, a Girl Social Ride, and an enduro technique workshop. An exhibitor village complements the cycling activities, featuring local vendors, organic beers, food trucks, DJ performances, and live discussions with professional cyclists.
