Xkern trail des gorges de la daronne - Colombier-le-Vieux 2026

The X-Kern Trail des Gorges de la Daronne takes runners from Colombier-le-Vieux into the protected gorges of the Daronne, a small Ardèche river flowing into the Doux. This early-December trail race offers several distances: solo runs of 7 km, 22 km, 31 km, and approximately 40 km, along with a 12.5 km duo race. The elevation gain varies from 200 m on the shortest route to about 1,250 m on the longest, making the event suitable for both novice trail runners and those seeking a more challenging run. The courses traverse the Gorges de la Daronne, a protected natural area spanning 25.5 km where the river winds through land managed for its landscapes, habitats, and biodiversity. The duo race is run with autonomy on single-track trails, while the longer solo courses require genuine trail running ability beyond road fitness. Les Doux sentiers de la Da’run organizes the race, now in its tenth edition. Post-race, participants can pre-order a meal of sausage, aligot, and dessert for on-site or take-away consumption.
