Big Bear Summer 10K

The Big Bear Summer 10K is an evening 10K race held at Coombe Abbey Park, located near Coventry in Warwickshire. The race begins at 7:00 PM in July and is organized by Big Bear Events. This event utilizes the park's terrain for off-road running through woodland, meadows, and grass fields, rather than on city roads. The course consists of two laps through the same woodland and meadow sections, with participants passing the water station on each lap. The ground conditions can vary significantly with the weather, ranging from muddy to dry or hard. Runners should be aware of exposed tree roots, uneven surfaces, and several gates. The course is undulating but not steep. Past events have included both 10K and 5K races.
