Boudicca Way 50K Summer Ultra

Distances
50km
About this race
The Boudicca Way 50K Summer Ultra takes runners and walkers from Hope Church in Diss to Trowse, near Norwich, along the Boudicca Way Long Distance Path across Norfolk. It begins in the morning with a 10-hour time limit. This 50km ultra is designed for beginners, not solely for experienced trail runners. The participant limit is 250, the minimum age is 20, and convenient rail access at both ends simplifies the point-to-point course, unlike many rural ultras.
The course runs near the old Roman Road (now the A140) and goes through Pulham Market, Fritton, Saxlingham, Stoke Holy Cross, and Caistor St. Edmund before arriving in Norwich. Checkpoints offer food and drink. GPS tracking and first aid are provided. All finishers receive a unique medal, a light meal, and hot drinks. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers. Entry fees contribute to Norfolk Trails for path upkeep. This is the third edition of the event, which welcomes LGBT and non-binary participants and is licensed by the Trail Runners Association under UK Athletics rules.
