Boxing Day Challenge 2026

The Boxing Day Challenge is a six-hour timed run along the River Thames near Wraysbury. It begins at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club in Egham, Surrey, on Boxing Day with a 7:00 AM start. The format allows runners to complete distances from 5K to a half marathon or more within the six hours. The course is flat, traffic-free, and out-and-back on riverside paths. Runners will complete laps of approximately 3.28 miles until they reach their target distance. The course is suitable for steady pacing, with consistent terrain and a simple route that does not require navigation as participants run along the Thames.
