About this race
The Cirencester 10K is a chip-timed, closed-road 10-kilometre race through Cirencester, a Cotswold market town with Roman roots. It starts at 9am from the Market Place in the town centre, returning to the same spot for the finish.
The route sends runners through central Cirencester, past landmarks such as the Market Place and Cirencester Park, then continues along Gloucester Road towards Daglingworth before looping back into town. It is a town-and-country 10K rather than a park-only course, with spectators gathered in the centre and runners using roads that are normally part of everyday Cirencester traffic.
