About this race
The City of Lincoln 10K is a 10-kilometre road race held in Lincoln, starting and finishing at Lincoln Castle. It is one of Lincolnshire’s significant local running events, open to runners of all abilities, including those aiming for a personal best, charity participants, and newcomers. Participants must be at least 15 years old on race day. Chip timing is provided, ensuring every runner receives an official finish time.
The course is fast and flat, taking runners past Lincoln’s Roman Walls, Lincoln Cathedral, and city gardens. Water stations are available on the route. Pacers will carry finish-time flags for those seeking assistance with pacing. Medical support will be positioned along the course and near the finish line. Upon finishing, participants receive a medal and a drink; a goody bag is also provided, with optional extras like a finisher T-shirt and medal engraving. Teams can register through the Corporate Challenge, and the Lincoln DUO Season Ticket connects this race with the Lincoln Half Marathon.
